Happy Birthday my little bear!

The last 14 hours went something like this:

ouch ouch. Me on the floor. I HAVE to go to the hospital. Boo hoo.

6pm: Madame, you are 3 cm. Waiting waiting waiting. Do you want some drugs to speed this up? No. 2 hours later. Do you want some drugs to speed this up? Ok. One hour later..GIVE ME AN EPIRDUAL! ah...

6am : we have to call an obstetrician in. She won't turn around. Obstetrician: If she doesn't turn around it'll be a caesarian. I am going to PUSH THIS BABY OUT. 7am: still no change. Midhusband to obstetrician: let me try one last time. 7:45am: Ok, Mamade J, push. 8:31: OUCH! 8:32 : Welcome Suzanne!

Okay, so I guess we probably really understand each other after reading your story. I wonder how many babies get born on the "one last time" push... The psychological effect of threatening pregnant women with someone unpleasant medical even is amazing, even if you know about it ahead of time.

Congratulations to you, well done, and happy birthday to Suzanne!
