I'm so proud of my little girl. She finally barked.
I've been reading her this book almost every night since she was born and she finally got it. When I got to the "some other dogs go..." pause, "bow wow wow" she didn't say anything. But by the time I'd gotten to the end of the book ("it's quiet now, what do you say?") she said "bow bow". How cute.
It's almost like she's said her first word, but not really.

Very cute! Can't wait until my little girl gets to that stage!
I love that book -- it's one of the first ones I bought to celebrate getting pregnant. Very sweet story!
Your little one will love it pardon my French! It's even easy to memorize so you can recite it in the street and sound like a total ass while you push your baby around in the stroller.
